Bristol
Web developer for Bristol
I used to live and work on Gloucester Road. I've since moved to London, but I'm back in Bristol often and I still work with businesses in the city. When I'm in town I'm happy to meet. The rest of the time we talk over email and calls, which is how most web projects run anyway.
I built the site for Dreamers Zine, a Bristol creative magazine, and I've been building websites for over 10 years.
I'm not an agency. There's no office in Clifton, no team of project managers. You deal with me directly, I do the work, and the lack of overhead means my prices are sensible. I've also built sites for clients in London (including Jude Law's production company) and Bath, so the work isn't limited to one city.
What I build
Business websites, e-commerce stores, and custom web applications. I work with Astro, Next.js, Vue, and React for modern sites. WordPress when it's the right tool. Everything is mobile-first, fast, and built with search engines in mind. I also build HTML5 banner campaigns for agencies and brands. Email me if you'd like to see the private portfolio.
If you run a small business anywhere in Bristol and want a developer who knows the city but doesn't charge agency rates, I'm worth a message.
How it works
We'll have a conversation about what you need. That can be a call, a video chat, or a coffee next time I'm in Bristol. I'll put together a proposal with a clear scope and price. Once you're happy, I build it. You'll have a staging link to check progress as I go, and I keep you updated without you having to chase.
Starter sites usually take 1-2 weeks, Professional sites 2-4 weeks and Custom builds 4-6 weeks.
Pricing
Plans start at £70/month and cover design, development, hosting, and ongoing updates. No big upfront cost. There's a minimum term of 12 months on Starter and Professional and 18 months on Custom. Bigger or more complex projects go on the Custom plan, from £250/month. You'll know what it costs before I start, and the full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Common questions
Yes, when I'm in Bristol, which is often. First meetings are always free and the coffee's on me. If it can't wait, a video call works just as well.
Yes. I lived and worked on Gloucester Road before moving to London, and I still work with clients in Bristol. Most of the work happens remotely, so the move hasn't changed much.
Design, development, hosting, SSL, ongoing updates, and basic support. It's aimed at small businesses that want a professional site without a big upfront cost. There's a 12-month minimum term, then you can cancel with 30 days' notice.
