The small print
Everything behind the monthly price, in one place.
- Before you commit
- I mock up your homepage and send it to you as a PDF, free. If you don't like where it's going, you walk away and pay nothing. Your plan only starts once you've seen it and want to go ahead.
- Updates
- Text, photos, prices, opening hours, typos and other small changes to the pages you have: 30 minutes a month on Starter, 1 hour on Professional, 2 hours on Custom. Usually done the same day. Unused time does not roll over.
- Minimum term
- 12 months on Starter and Professional, 18 months on Custom. There is nothing to pay upfront: the build is spread across the term.
- Leaving early
- If you leave before the minimum term is up, you pay the months that are left.
- After the term
- The site is yours. Cancel with 30 days' notice, or carry on at the same monthly rate for hosting, support and updates.
- Your domain
- Registered in your name from day one. Standard .co.uk, .com and .uk domains are included.
- Ownership
- The code transfers to you at the end of the minimum term. Then it's yours to keep, move elsewhere, or keep hosted with me.
- Extra work
- New pages, blog posts, redesigns and new features, or updates beyond your monthly time, are £65 an hour, agreed with you before I start.
- VAT
- I'm not VAT registered, so the price on the page is what you pay. There's no VAT on top.
- Changing plan
- Move up a plan whenever you need to. The new monthly price applies from the day you switch.

Yes. If you start on Starter and want to add a CMS or more pages later, I can move you up a plan. The difference in monthly cost applies from the switch date.
I can, but I typically recommend Astro, Next.js, or Vue for better performance. If WordPress genuinely fits your needs, I'll tell you. I pick the right tool rather than defaulting to one.
