I'm a freelance web developer based in London. I used to live in Bristol and I'm still back in the area often, Bath included, so when I'm around I'm happy to meet for a kickoff, a coffee, or anything that's easier face to face. Most of the actual work happens remotely because that's what makes sense for both of us, but the option's there.
The honest reason to hire me over a Bath agency: I don't have Bath overheads. No office on Milsom Street, no account managers. What I build
Business websites, e-commerce stores, web applications. I work with Astro, Next.js, Vue, and React for custom builds, and WordPress when it's genuinely the right fit. Everything I build is mobile-first, fast-loading, and built with search engines in mind from day one.

How it works in practice
We'll start with a call, or a meeting next time I'm in Bath if you'd rather talk in person. After that, most communication happens over email and video calls. I send progress updates regularly and you'll have a staging link to check the site as it comes together.
Starter sites usually take 1-2 weeks, Professional sites 2-4 weeks and Custom builds 4-6 weeks.
Pricing
Plans start at £70/month and cover design, development, hosting, and ongoing updates. No big upfront cost. There's a minimum term of 12 months on Starter and Professional and 18 months on Custom. Larger or more complex projects go on the Custom plan, from £250/month. Either way, you'll know the full cost before any work starts. The details are on the pricing page.

No. I'm based in London and most of my work is remote, with clients across the UK and beyond. I'm in Bristol and Bath often though, so meeting in person is easy enough when it's useful.
Yes. I'm in the area often and happy to meet when I am. Tell me roughly when suits you and I'll fit it around my next trip. First meetings are always free.
Design, development, hosting, SSL, ongoing updates, and basic support. You get a professional site without paying thousands upfront. There's a 12-month minimum term. If you need something more complex, the Custom plan starts at £250/month.
Yes. I regularly take over sites built by other developers or agencies. WordPress, Shopify, custom builds. I'll have a look and tell you honestly what state it's in.
It depends on the project. Astro and Next.js for fast, modern sites. Vue or React when there's interactive functionality. WordPress when it genuinely fits. I pick the right tool rather than defaulting to one stack.
